Hive Tip: The Pet-Owner's Quick Clean Guide

It’s no secret that we love our fur-babies here at Hive Helper, but we don’t love the constant cleaning up that comes with them! For when you’re in between Hive visits, we’ve compiled a few of our go-to quick-tricks for a fur and odor-free Hive!

Fur Fighters

Nobody wants layers of pet fur on the sofa, especially if you have visitors arriving. One easy trick: Run an all-natural dryer sheet over the fabric to easily grab errant hairs. Another option: Don dishwashing gloves, dip them under water, and caress your couch until the fur lifts away!

Litter-Box Smell-Be-Gone

One downside to indoor kitties: the dreaded litter box. Keep yours fresh by scooping it out at least once a day and dusting the litter with a bit of deodorizing baking soda in between cleans.

Urine (and more!) Cleanser

Accidents happen. You can make a pet-friendly spray to remove holdover odors by mixing 3 cups of distilled white vinegar, 3 cups of water, and 6 tablespoons of baking soda. Spray it on the area, let sit for 10 minutes, and blot dry.
